More rain. I tried anyway

I had no food. It had rained for 3 days. I was on the windward side of the Cascades the rain is trapped there. I started in the rain and made it about 15 miles. Had to bail and hitch a ride. I was getting hypothermic. Cold wet shaking. Oh well! It was snowing at the top of Washington Pass.
